    In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Tana Hali Tara of BJP won in this constituency beating Nabam Vivek of NPEP by a margin of 2,385 votes which was 14.73% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Nabam Rebia of INC was the winner uncontested. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Shri Nabam Rebia of INC won this seat defeating Shri Ngurang Pinch of NCP by a margin of 598 votes which was 3.6% of the total votes polled for the seat.
