In 2014, Jomde Kena of INC was the winner in this seat beating Yai Mara of IND by a margin of 552 votes which was 6.42% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Jomde Kena of INC won this seat defeating Yai Mara of TMC by a margin of 893 votes which was 10.55% of the total votes polled for the seat.
