    In the 2019 Arunachal Pradesh Assembly elections, Jambey Tashi of BJP won in this constituency beating Jampa Thirnly Kunkhap of NPEP by a margin of 1,288 votes which was 16.12% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Jambey Tashi of INC was the winner in this seat beating Theg Tse Rinpoche of IND by a margin of 1,499 votes which was 20.97% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Jambey Tashi of INC won this seat uncontested.
