    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Rajesh Kumar (Bablu Bhaiya) of SP won in this seat defeating Guddan Bhaiya Pushpendra Nath Pathak of BJP by a margin of 36,714 which was 25.4% of the total votes cast for the seat. SP had a vote share of 46.78% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Guddan Pathak (Pushpendra Nath) of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Bablu Rajesh Shukla of INC by a margin of 10,379 votes which was 8.14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 39.68% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Asharani of BJP won this seat beating Rajesh Shukla (Bablu Bhaiya) of INC by a margin of 2,071 votes which was 2.23% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 26.53% in the seat.
