    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Bhupendra Bhaiya of BJP won in this seat defeating Arunodaya Choubey (Annu Bhaiya) of INC by a margin of 15,295 which was 9.92% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 50.71% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Bhoopendra Bhaiya of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Arunoday Choubey Annu Bhaiya of INC by a margin of 6,084 votes which was 4.45% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 45.47% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Arunodaya Choubey of INC won this seat beating Bhoopendra Singh of BJP by a margin of 17,317 votes which was 17.16% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 45.36% in the seat.
