    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Chandrabhaga Gangadas of INC won in this seat defeating Diwansingh Viththal of BJP by a margin of 25,222 which was 14.55% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 54.6% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Diwansingh Vithal Patel of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Miss Chandrabhaga Kirade of INC by a margin of 7,382 votes which was 4.68% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 49.4% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Balaram Bachchan of INC won this seat beating Kanhaiya Versingh Sisodiya of BJP by a margin of 3,564 votes which was 3.13% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 47.2% in the seat.
