    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Harsh Vijay Gehlot 'Guddu' of INC won in this seat defeating Narayan Maida of BJP by a margin of 28,498 which was 17.32% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 44.73% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Sangeeta Vijay Charel of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Guddu Harshvijay Gehlot of INC by a margin of 2,079 votes which was 1.46% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 33.41% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Prabhudayal Gehlot of INC won this seat beating Sangeeta Charel of BJP by a margin of 6,285 votes which was 6.41% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 30.11% in the seat.
