    In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Dhiraj Vilasrao Deshmukh of INC won in this constituency beating Nota of NOTA by a margin of 1,07,166 votes which was 53.69% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Bhise Trimbakrao Shrirangrao of INC was the winner in this seat beating Karad Ramesh Kashiram of BJP by a margin of 10,510 votes which was 5.11% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Shinde Vaijanath Gyandev of INC won this seat defeating Rameshappa Kashiram Karad of BJP by a margin of 23,583 votes which was 12.65% of the total votes polled for the seat.
