    This constituency covers an approximate area of 1746.35 square kilometers and the geographic coordinates of Sabalagadh is: 19°01'24.6"N 76°09'24.5"E.

    In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Prakash (Dada) Sundarrao Solanke of NCP won in this constituency beating Ramesh Baburao Kokate (Adaskar) of BJP by a margin of 12,940 votes which was 05.67% of the total votes cast. In 2014, R T Deshmukh (Jija) of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Prakash Sundarrao Solanke (Dada) of NCP by a margin of 37,245 votes which was 17.39% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Prakashdada Sundarrao Solanke of NCP won this seat defeating R T Deshmukh (Jija) of BJP by a margin of 7,909 votes which was 4.2% of the total votes polled for the seat.
