    In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Vitthal Shankar Awasthi of BJP won in this seat defeating Om Prakash Naraniwal of IND by a margin of 49,578 which was 28.32% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 53.23% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Vitthal Shankar Avasthi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Rampal Soni of INC by a margin of 46,116 votes which was 32.61% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 64.76% in the seat.
