    In the 2019 Sikkim Assembly elections, Aditya Golay (Tamang) of SKM won in this constituency beating Sancha Raj Subba of SDF by a margin of 208 votes which was 1.58% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Ram Bahadur Limboo (Subba) of SDF was the winner in this seat beating Bharati Sharma of SKM by a margin of 1,929 votes which was 16.2% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Ran Bahadur Subba of SDF won this seat defeating Nar Bahadur Bhandari of INC by a margin of 4,119 votes which was 42.16% of the total votes polled for the seat.
