    In the 2019 Jharkhand Assembly elections, Ramchandra Chandravanshi of BJP won in this constituency beating Rajesh Mehta of BSP by a margin of 8,513 votes which was 04.52% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Ram Chandra Chandravanshi of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Anju Singh of IND by a margin of 13,910 votes which was 8.31% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Chandrashekhar Dubey of INC won this seat defeating Ramchandra Chandravanshi of RJD by a margin of 8,352 votes which was 6.77% of the total votes polled for the seat.
