    In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Y S Avinash Reddy of YSRCP won in this seat defeating Adi Narayana Reddy Chadipirala of TDP by a margin of 3,80,726 votes which was 31% of the total votes cast for the seat. YSRCP had a vote share of 63.41% in 2019 in this seat.

    In 2014, Y S Avinash Reddy of YSRCP emerged victorious in this seat beating Srinivasa Reddy Reddeppagari of TDP by a margin of 1,90,323 votes which was 15.85% of the total votes polled in the constituency. YSRCP secured a vote share of 55.97% in the seat.

    In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy of INC won this seat beating Palem Srikanth Reddy of TDP by a margin of 1,78,846 votes which was 17.42% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 52.84% in the seat.
