    In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Chattarsingh Darbar of BJP won in this seat defeating Girwal Dinesh of INC by a margin of 1,56,029 votes which was 11.61% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 53.72% in 2019 in this seat.

    In 2014, Savitri Thakur of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Umang Singhar of INC by a margin of 1,04,328 votes which was 9.69% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 51.86% in the seat.
