    In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Arjun Ram Meghwal of BJP won in this seat defeating Madan Gopal Meghwal of INC by a margin of 2,64,081 votes which was 24.02% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 59.77% in 2019 in this seat.

    In 2014, Arjun Ram Meghwal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Er Shankar Pannu of INC by a margin of 3,08,079 votes which was 33.14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 62.91% in the seat.
