    In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Nisith Pramanik of BJP won in this seat defeating Adhikary Paresh Chandra of TMC by a margin of 54,231 votes which was 3.56% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 47.96% in 2019 in this seat.

    In 2014, Renuka Sinha of TMC emerged victorious in this seat beating Dipak Kumar Roy of AIFB by a margin of 87,107 votes which was 6.54% of the total votes polled in the constituency. TMC secured a vote share of 39.51% in the seat.

    In the 2009 Lok Sabha elections, Nripendra Nath Roy of AIFB won this seat beating Arghya Roy Pradhan of TMC by a margin of 33,749 votes which was 3.01% of the total votes polled in the constituency. AIFB had a vote share of 44.63% in the seat.
