    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Leena Jain of BJP won in this seat defeating Nishank Kumar Jain of INC by a margin of 10,226 which was 6.99% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 50.28% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Nishank of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Harisingh Raghuwanshi of BJP by a margin of 16,159 votes which was 12.29% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 51.72% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Hari Singh Raghuvanshi 'Badda' of BJP won this seat beating Kanchhedilal of INC by a margin of 17,717 votes which was 18.86% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 47.88% in the seat.
