    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Deepak Saxena of INC won in this seat defeating Choudhary Chandrabhan Singh Kuber Singh of BJP by a margin of 14,547 which was 7.06% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 50.47% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Choudhary Chandrabhansingh Kubersingh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Deepak Saxena of INC by a margin of 24,778 votes which was 13.53% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 53.41% in the seat.
