    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Hari Singh Sapre of BJP won in this seat defeating Subhash Bohat Advocate of INC by a margin of 16,695 which was 10.83% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 52.06% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Veersingh Panwar of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Pan Bai Panthi of INC by a margin of 4,081 votes which was 2.91% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 46.37% in the seat.
