    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, O P S Bhadoria of INC won in this seat defeating Rakesh Shukla of BJP by a margin of 25,814 which was 15.89% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 37.9% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Choudhary Mukesh Singh Chaturvedi of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating O P S Bhadouriya of INC by a margin of 1,273 votes which was 0.9% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 21.08% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Rakesh Shukla of BJP won this seat beating Ray Singh Bhadoriya (Baba) of RSMD by a margin of 5,344 votes which was 4.22% of the total votes polled in the constituency. RSMD had a vote share of 26.56% in the seat.
