    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Jalam Singh Patel 'Munna Bhaiya' of BJP won in this seat defeating Lakhan Singh Patel of INC by a margin of 14,903 which was 8.64% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 50.93% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Jalam Singh Patel (Munna Bhaiya) of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Sunil Jaisawal of INC by a margin of 48,481 votes which was 30.87% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 57.25% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Sunil Jaiswal of INC won this seat beating Ashwani Dhoreliya 'Anna Bhaiya' of BJP by a margin of 8,199 votes which was 6.78% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 36.45% in the seat.
