    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Brijendra Pratap Singh of BJP won in this seat defeating Shivjeet Singh 'Bhaiya Raja' of INC by a margin of 20,708 which was 12.18% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 40.21% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Kusum Singh Mahdele of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Lodhi Mahendra Pal Varma of BSP by a margin of 29,036 votes which was 19.54% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 36.86% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Shrikant Dubey of INC won this seat beating Kusum Singh Mahdele of BJP by a margin of 42 votes which was 0.04% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 21.14% in the seat.
