    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Sudesh Rai of BJP won in this seat defeating Surendra Singh Thakur of INC by a margin of 20,644 which was 13.05% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 38% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Sudesh Rai of IND emerged victorious in this seat beating Usha Ramesh Saxena of BJP by a margin of 1,626 votes which was 1.14% of the total votes polled in the constituency. IND had a vote share of 44.47% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Ramesh Saxena of BJP won this seat beating Swadash Rai of INC by a margin of 10,036 votes which was 9.75% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 42.15% in the seat.
