    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Ghanshyam Singh of INC won in this seat defeating Radhelal Baghel of BJP by a margin of 33,268 which was 27.06% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 52.71% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Pradeep Agarwal of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ghanshyam Singh of INC by a margin of 8,809 votes which was 7.51% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 27.62% in the seat.

    In the 2008 elections, Radhelal Baghel of BSP won this seat beating Pradeep Agrawal of BJP by a margin of 3,276 votes which was 3.54% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 24.63% in the seat.
