    In the 2018 Madhya Pradesh Assembly elections, Rajshri - Rudra Pratap Singh of BJP won in this seat defeating Jyotsna Yadav of INC by a margin of 7,340 which was 5.55% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 47.37% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Surya Prakash Meena of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Jyotsna Yadav of INC by a margin of 3,158 votes which was 2.6% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 44.63% in the seat.
