    In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Girish Dattatraya Mahajan of BJP won in this constituency beating Sanjay Bhaskarrao Garud of NCP by a margin of 34,743 votes which was 16.64% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Girish Dattatray Mahajan of BJP was the winner in this seat beating Patil Digambar Keshav of NCP by a margin of 35,768 votes which was 18.37% of the total votes polled in the constituency. In the 2009 Assembly elections, Mahajan Girish Dattatray of BJP won this seat defeating Garud Sanjay Bhaskarrao of INC by a margin of 7,517 votes which was 4.23% of the total votes polled for the seat.
