    In the 2019 Maharashtra Assembly elections, Ranajagjitsinha Padmasinha Patil of BJP won in this constituency beating Chavan Madhukarrao Deorao of INC by a margin of 22,782 votes which was 09.96% of the total votes cast. In 2014, Chavan Madhukarrao Deorao of INC was the winner in this seat beating Gore Jeevanrao Vishwanathrao of NCP by a margin of 29,610 votes which was 13.62% of the total votes polled in the constituency.
