    In the 2018 Mizoram Assembly elections, Lalchhandama Ralte of MNF won in this seat defeating R L Pianmawia of INC by a margin of 3 which was 0.02% of the total votes cast for the seat. MNF had a vote share of 39.41% in 2018 in this seat.
