    In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Mewaram Jain of INC won in this seat defeating Col Sonaram Choudhary Retd of BJP by a margin of 33,047 which was 17.54% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 51.95% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Mewaram Jain of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr Priyanka Chowdhary of BJP by a margin of 5,913 votes which was 3.73% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 40.33% in the seat.
