    In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Shankar Singh Rawat of BJP won in this seat defeating Parasmal Jain of INC by a margin of 4,502 which was 2.74% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 42.49% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Shankar Singh of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Manoj Chauhan of INC by a margin of 42,909 votes which was 29.63% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP had a vote share of 55.63% in the seat.
