    In the 2018 Rajasthan Assembly elections, Vishvendra Singh of INC won in this seat defeating Dr Shailesh Singh of BJP by a margin of 8,218 which was 5.06% of the total votes cast for the seat. INC had a vote share of 45.41% in 2018 in this seat.

    In 2013, Vishvendra Singh of INC emerged victorious in this seat beating Dr Digamber Singh of BJP by a margin of 11,162 votes which was 7.5% of the total votes polled in the constituency. INC had a vote share of 47.99% in the seat.
