    In the 2018 Telangana Assembly elections, Korukanti Chandar Patel of AIFB won in this seat defeating Somarapu Satyanarayana of TRS by a margin of 26,419 which was 19.41% of the total votes cast for the seat. AIFB had a vote share of 45.1% in 2018 in this seat.
