    In the 2019 Lok Sabha general elections, Rajveer Singh (Raju Bhaiya) of BJP won in this seat defeating Ku Devendra Singh Yadav of SP by a margin of 1,22,670 votes which was 12.27% of the total votes cast for the seat. BJP had a vote share of 54.52% in 2019 in this seat.

    In 2014, Rajveer Singh (Raju Bhaiya) of BJP emerged victorious in this seat beating Ku Devendra Singh Yadav of SP by a margin of 2,01,001 votes which was 21.7% of the total votes polled in the constituency. BJP secured a vote share of 51.28% in the seat.
